Currently, this method returns the spouse id, first name and last name.  But it would be so much more helpful if it could also join/include the full spouse record, so that additional attributes are included such as title, nick name, middle name, deceased, birthday, primary email and phone, etc.

For business reasons, spouse information is important.   I'm trying to keep a synchronized copy of constituents, and my constituent record includes spouse information.  So instead of requesting all the changed constituents since last time I checked, I have no other option but getting ALL constituents EVERY TIME, and doing the join in memory on my server.  This wastes server resources for everyone, and it chews up my quota.
