Right now, when exporting a gift to Raiser's Edge NXT from a third-party service we're setting the payment info to the “Other” payment type and populating the “reference” field with extra information (like the card type)

However, one of our clients are wanting us to instead create gifts with the actual payment type (credit card), and populate details like the cardholder name and card type.

Unfortunately, it seems like this is not possible through the Sky API with the current Gift or Payments API; there is no way to make a non-billing payment to just hold someone's name and credit card type.

Could we add a way to be able to properly indicate a gift was completed with a certain card type by a certain person, without needing to use the "Other" payment type & the "reference" field?
