Fund Search

Using the Fundraising API we can retrieve a Fund and a list of Funds, but it would be helpful to have a Search function that allows allows searching by description (FundName) and lookup_id (FundNumber).

    Hi, Dan, 

    Thanks for following up. The idea was more of a lookup than a search. I know a Fund Name or its Fund Description, but not its System Record ID. I want to retrieve just that one record. 

    I wouldn't be interested in wildcard/fuzzy search logic for this specific function, but other partners might.

    Few clarifying questions, to understand most impactful way we could address this idea:

    1. Are you wanting to narrow down list of funds to a single or low volume of funds? Or, merely filter the universe of funds by a segment?
    2. Do you want to match on exact parameter values (e.g., 2018ANNUAL), or a fuzzier search logic (e.g., starts with or includes '2018')?
