Constituent SSN

The Database View (classic RE7) has a SSN (Social Security Number) field for Constituents, and it's available on the traditional RE7 COM API. Can this be added to the Constituent object in SKYAPI?

    We want to use the SSN field to store a patient identifier in RE NXT. We would need the ability to post and to get that in an API call.

    To buttress the point that this is a basic requirement for HEIs, I'm currently working on an integration middleware piece for a Melbourne, Australia university and having this will greatly speed up data matching between the two systems.

    Please can someone give us an idea of timelines for this? It seems like a fairly basic requirement for many HEIs.

    We currently use this at University of Auckland to pass a university user ID into RE, using the RE7 COM API.  Currently reworking this integration for NXT in November this year, for go live in January 2018.  Any chance it could be added before then please - would be very helpful!?
