Integrations that create gifts both in batch and actual gifts, cannot determine if a constituent has a relationship that has the "Automatically soft credit this individual for gifts" flag set in order to add the Soft Credit Record to the gift record. Just adding the gift or gift in batch via the API does not auto soft credit the related constituent.
