In RE when a gift is added the Primary Constituency code at the time of the gift is added to the gift.   This offers historical information and details of the donor at the time of the Gift. 

Knowing that they made a gift as a Board Member or as an employee and now they no longer do is good information to know and can be used to find new ways to engage the donor.
