CRUD endpoints for Campaigns, Appeals, Funds

This would allow us to build our own fundraising pages and thermometers etc.

5+ years for this feature to be completed? Kinda disapointing. My company also imports funds daily and we are looking to automate this task in NXT... ill check back in a couple years i suppose.

Any updates? This is a requirement for our RENXT implementation. We feed fund info from our financial system, and need the ability to create funds via SKY.

Any update on this? It would be really great to be able to create them.

As a quick update, read only access to data is available now in the Fundraising API. Additional endpoints to support full CRUD operations on Campaigns, Funds, and Appeals are unfortunately a ways out still, however, attachments and custom fields can be managed for these entity types today.

We will keep you updated as we have better estimates around full CRUD operations. Suffice it to say, it is 100% on our backlog, but we have enough ahead of it right now that I cannot give you an accurate timeframe for when it will be delivered right now.

Hi Dan, I would only need read-only access to data on an appeal or campaign. But, ultimately I'd like to see full CRUD actions for each in RE NXT. I'm really struggling with RE7 and BBNC at the moment because my ideas go far beyond what the API will allow me to do.

As an example of what I'm hoping to do with CFA endpoints — I'd like to be able to build custom thermometers for each appeal. I'd need to get the appeal name, goal, and amount donated so far. But, I can imagine wanting to get at custom attributes for even more interesting use cases.

I also want to be able to get a list of funds based on a fund query (if that exists in NXT). Our organisation has 2000 funds and I want to provide a really nice UX that helps a donor choose which fund they want to give to (categorised and searchable). If you go to https://www.suqld.org.au/donate/online and click "Choose where my gift goes" you'll see an early version of what I'm currently working on with RE7 and BBNC. I've had to do some crazy work-arounds to pull that list of funds via AJAX and I'd prefer not to have to go to so much effort.

Thanks James, exactly the kind of ideas we're looking for. We are in the midst of designing a Gift API that'll likely include Campaign/Fund/Appeal endpoints, but could use further input on which specific operations, filters, properties, etc. would be most helpful.

Also, can you clarify what you mean by "our own fundraising pages and thermometers"? Would this be read-only dashboards, or something that'd also write data back to Raiser's Edge NXT?
