Please provide both a way to get GL distribution information (Project, percent, debit, credit), preferably in bulk (not 1 fund get a time), and a way to create/update fund with GL distribution information.

Is this idea for folks that use the built in RE posting function as part of their process? I'm asking as we do not use the built in posting function, we just need API access to the fund distributions which are available on fund records in RE (and are a function of fund, gift type and gift subtype). I can see that developers may be interested in gl posting api code for both those that use the posting process and those that don't.

Definitely.

But it would also be beneficial to pull the GL distribution on the gift as as well as the fund since the fund GL could change after a gift is posted.

Agreed. We are attempting to perform a scheduled, automated import of posted gifts into our ERP system, and require access to fund GL distribution data in order to do so.
